Four cars you’ll probably never see in the UK

You see plenty of interesting and fun cars on the roads, but did you know that the UK misses out on some of the most intriguing vehicles from around the world? Cars that are hits elsewhere are virtually impossible to find here, making them ultra-rare and highly coveted. If you love spotting rare rides, here are four cars you’ll probably never see in the UK.

Kia Telluride

The Kia Telluride is a fascinating car because it comes from one of the most popular car makers in the UK market. Not a day goes by without seeing a few Kias on the road – and they’re great if you want reliable and high-quality EVs.

This car isn’t an EV, but that’s not why you can’t buy it in the UK. Despite being one of the leading family car SUVs in America, the Telluride is too big for UK roads. You might find this crazy given how large some of the cars on UK roads are, but Kia can’t sell this due to certain regulations.

A shame when you consider the glowing reviews it gains and the impressive safety features that make it a great family car.

Tesla Cybertruck

In recent times, people are moving away from picking up Teslas, but that doesn’t stop the Cybertruck from generating headlines. It’s an infamous vehicle that splits opinions based on its looks. Some think it looks utterly stupid, while others believe it’s an ingenious design.

You can sit on either side of this fence, yet you won’t be able to buy the Tesla Cybertruck in the UK. Again, size is the problem, though this car/truck also failed a lot of European safety tests, which means you won’t see it anywhere in Europe.

Lucid Air

Speaking of EVs, the Lucid Air is one of the more exciting prospects on the global market. Think Tesla just better looking, faster and less controversial. It’s at the top of many people’s lists when looking to buy a new car, but you can’t get it in the UK…yet.

There’s no reason for this other than the fact that Lucid (the manufacturer) doesn’t currently sell in the UK or most of Europe. However, experts reckon it’ll make its way across British shores at some point in the coming years.

Nissan Z

People in the UK love small sports cars, so, strangely, the Nissan Z isn’t available. It’s a moderately-priced little coupe that’s quite similar to the 350Z – which was sold in the UK many years ago.

The retro styling makes this a gorgeous car to look at, though Nissan decided only to sell it in Asia and the US. Why? Nobody knows! It’s literally perfect for British roads and the driving we get up to, so who can say why Nissan chose to avoid selling this car yet continue selling so many other models?

Cars like the Kia Telluride and Tesla Cybertruck will likely be unable to make it to the UK due to size and weight restrictions. However, there’s no reason you can’t import the other vehicles and be the proud owner of one of the UK’s rarest cars ever.
