Packing for Disneyland Paris can feel overwhelming. Do you take one big bag for the family, split it into a few, or carry your own? Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, having the right park bag and packing it wisely can make all the difference.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Choosing the Perfect Park Bag

Your bag sets the tone for your whole day in the park. Comfort, size, and functionality are key.

  • Backpack or tote? I always go for a large backpack with multiple pockets. It keeps your hands free and can even clip onto strollers or pushchairs if needed.
  • Travel-friendly: For short trips, a compact 20L cabin backpack works perfectly (bonus: it flies free on Ryanair!). Longer trips? Consider a bigger travel bag or even a kids’ mini suitcase like the Trunki.
  • Stylish but practical: Baby-changing bags aren’t just for babies, they’re roomy, organised, and perfect for carrying everything you need. I also love Loungefly Mini Backpacks for teens who want something fun and functional.

Disney Park Bag Essentials

Here’s my tried-and-tested packing list for Disneyland Paris. Keep it simple, focus on essentials, and tailor it to the season.

Snacks – Bring simple, non-perishable snacks to survive long queues. Stackable containers like Sistema To Go make it easy to organise.

Refillable Water Bottle – Drinks are pricey in the park, so refill whenever you can. I recommend leak-proof bottles or collapsible ones if you’re short on space.

Baby Wipes – Perfect for sticky fingers, spills, or quick clean-ups. Bonus points for themed or vegan-friendly wipes.

Poncho/Raincoat – Paris weather can be unpredictable. A compact poncho fits easily in your bag.

Camera/Phone – Phones take great pictures, but a small digital camera can save your memory space if you snap everything like me.

Lanyard & Ticket Holder – Keep your tickets accessible. Consider a sunflower lanyard if travelling with someone with hidden disabilities, it’s discreet and helpful.

Mini First Aid Kit – Bandages, plasters, pain relief – perfect for little accidents or emergencies.

Portable Fan – Summer days in Disneyland can get hot. A handheld fan keeps everyone cool.

Sun Lotion – Essential from spring to summer. Don’t forget sensitive skin-friendly options for the little ones.

Portable Charger – Phones die fast with apps, photos, and social sharing. Bring a portable charger or rent one at the park.

Small Wallet or Purse – Keep park tickets, ID, and cards secure without lugging around a large purse.

Park Map & Autograph Book – Collect maps at the entrance or download the Disneyland Paris app. For autograph hunters, Etsy has some adorable options.

Covid-Considerate Extras

While restrictions have eased, a few extras keep you comfortable and safe:

Hand Sanitiser & Anti-Bacterial Wipes – Easy to carry and perfect for busy hands and surfaces.

Face Masks – Optional but handy if you prefer some extra protection.

Bonus Tip: Keep it Seasonal

  • Summer: Sunscreen, portable fan, light snacks.
  • Winter: Gloves, hand warmers, and a compact raincoat.
