Coastal clues are similar to treasure hunts but at the beach. As you might already know, kids love puzzles and mystery games, and this version of the treasure hunt will surely keep the kids busy. You also need not do any pre-planning to create the clues.

You have to create a list of items you are likely to find by the sea. It may include an already built sandcastle, a kite, seagulls, lifeguards, an umbrella, etc. Your kids need to find all the items on the list and click a picture of them. You can buy them ice cream or their favourite toy for a reward. The best part about this game is that you’ll also get time to relax while your kids are finding the items.

Learn Paddle Boarding (SUP)

If your kids are adventurous, you can go paddleboarding. It will be a fun water sport to try, and your kids might find it so interesting that they consider becoming a professional. You can also find paddleboard or SUP Rental for the day to teach your kids boarding. Some of the best paddleboards are the inflatable stand up paddleboards. Nevertheless, make sure that there is a lifeguard nearby. 

Note: When renting a SUP, make sure its shape is ideal and reduces the chances of getting tipped over. Such boards are ideal for beginners.

Last but not least, you are likely to find many people, kids, and even dogs at the beach. It is an excellent opportunity to help your kids improve their communication and socialising skills. Help them meet new people and make fellow kids their friends. They can play different games such as building sandcastles, frisbee, kite flying, beach bowling, etc. It is especially a good idea if you are on an extended vacation. Interacting with new people will help your child learn numerous things.
